Sorry I haven't been posting any recently. It was the last week of term and rather crazy around here. Mostly social events really but altogether too hectic. This week is much much quieter - no undergrads around, not much on the schedule, nothing much to plan. I am almost finished with my PhD program applications, except for Cambridge. This week I am trying to focus on getting those all done with, so that I can turn to my coursework with a solid focus. At the beginning of next term (January 18th) I have a coursework essay due, and I also have a few manuscript projects on my plate, as well as some research on medieval carols, and my general dissertation work to catch up on too. At this very moment I am painting an acrylic of the view of our backyard, but very abstract. I've been art-deprived for way too long and it feels wonderful to create something with my hands again.
